The Resilience Revolution includes lots of amazing people who give up their time to make Blackpool a more resilient town.
One of the ways that people can volunteer is to be part of our innovative Friendship Model of Volunteering. With projects such as Friend for Life, Friend for School, Digital Friends and Independent Visitors there are lots of opportunities to get involved.
One of our volunteers, Patrick, says “It’s ironic that the word volunteering is synonymous with ‘unpaid’, because I feel richer for the friendship that I now have through ‘volunteering’ with the Friend for Life project.”
