Co-leader of the Resilience Revolution, Christopher shares some of the photographs he took this bank holiday weekend which he hopes will remind you how great Blackpool truly is! As well as finding time for his interests, Christopher has taken up photography as a way to keep himself calm in this slightly disorganised new world. Christopher tells us, “by calming down and slowing the pace, this makes me feel better and allows me to put into perspective what is happening. It also makes me realise what a wonderful place Blackpool actually is, as the world isn’t very calm right now, lots of people are feeling uneasy and find themselves in a state of panic. Through all of this nature still stands strong. It is important for people to keep calm for their own mental health, to stay positive in themselves. Some people might choose to walk by themselves, or walk the dog, they might run or jog or just take themselves safely outdoors. A way that I like to keep calm is by going out into our world and taking photos to show Blackpool is a great place to live. Here you can see some of my photos from Stanley Park – look how calm and strong nature is.” What’s the best photo of Blackpool you have that calms you down? #Resilience Revolution #RR #CalmingDown
